The Course Home Page is the first page students will see when they click on the "Home" link in their Course Navigation. As an instructor, you can decide what you want students to see on the Course Home Page.
In your course, navigate to "Change Home Page Layout” (top right corner on your Course Home Page) and set the Home Page to “a Page I’ll Design Myself.” Then "Update Layout" and click "Edit this Page" on the Sidebar. Include the following on your page: [NOTE TO CHALLENGE LEADER: You can customize the Home Page requirements if you have a preferred template/standard.]
Bold course title at the top (Heading 3, Bold).
Add an image related to your class. Insert the image by clicking on the tree icon in the Rich Content Editor or the Images tab on the right Content Selector.
Add text stating, "Click here to see this week’s module." (NOTE: You will revisit this page later on to add the link.)
In addition to this task, visit the Challenge Q&A Discussion and post a response to one of the following topics: 1) A question you have about customizing your Home Page, 2) Tips or ideas for content you can add to a Home Page, or 3) Experience or feedback you've had with using any of the various Home Page layouts.
